Mission statement

The mission of the Department of Astronomy, University of Chile is to train students to excel in their research through undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Astronomy (Master & PhD) and to enlighten the general public about astronomy through outreach activities.

DAS has a set of skilled scholars, post-docs, research assistants, students and other staffs.
