What does this entail?
A student visa is granted to a foreigner who travels to Chile to study
as a regular student in a recognized State or private academic institution.
The visa has a maximum validity of one year. In the case of scholarship
recipients, it is valid for the length of the scholarship.
Where is this carried out?
Chilean consulates. The Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which analyzes the applicant's personal details.

Requirements
• Certificate of registration or letter of acceptance issued by a government recognized University or Academic Institution
• Proof of economic solvency, allowing the student to study for the indicated length of time
• Criminal record certificate
• Medical certificate
• Passport
• 4 passport-size photos
