I work on massive and dense molecular clumps where massive stars form. I use multi-line molecular surveys to characterize the physical and chemical properties of early stage (pre-stellar) clumps to HII regions.

I work mainly in exoplanet detection using the radial velocity method. I also work in the determination of stellar atmospheric parameters, like effective temperature, surface gravity and metallicity, which are later use in the characterization of planetary systems. I'm also involved in the NGTS project, which is an array of 12 telescopes at the north of Chile dedicated in the detection of exoplanets using the transit method.
