Multi-disciplinary Students Workshop at DAS

A student workshop is going to be organized for students from multi-disciplinary fields of science to integrate research ideas from astronomy and related fields (Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Geology, etc.) at Cerro Calan, DAS, Universidad de Chile.
The workshop is designed to create a great opportunity for students to share their work, and to create interdisciplinary collaborations among students. Each participants will present their research work in English for 15 minutes, and for those who are presenting poster presentations with be given 3 minutes of time to briefly explain their work.
The workshop will be held from 9-10 May 2016 at the National Astronomical Observatory at Cerro Calan. There will accommodate not more than 50 students from various multi-disciplinary fields.
Abstract Deadline:
From March 14 to April 8. (it should send a short summary of the talk or poster to workshop.astro.uchile@gmail.com, indicating the following:
- First name
- Studies / Year
- Contribution (talk or poster)
- Title
- Abstract / Summary (less than 200 words)
The workshop is free for all the selected participants. Coffee breaks and lunch are included.
The list of participants and program of the workshop will be published no later than 29 April.
