Postgraduate 2021 Astronomy

This Program is aimed at graduates of Bachelor's degrees in Physics or Astronomy, or equivalent degrees, who wish to complete their professional training in Astrophysics, which allows them to carry out broader research. The Program is open to candidates of all nationalities. Candidates for the program must have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Astronomy, Physics or Engineering, and an advanced level in English.

The Department of Astronomy (DAS) at the University of Chile depends directly on the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, and is also the headquarters of the National Astronomical Observatory (OAN).

Since its founding in 1965, our department has been characterized by academic excellence, educating top-level undergraduate and graduate students in astronomy.
